Torii Millet
Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Associate

Torii Zamora Millet is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Associate at the University of Minnesota, where she investigates reports of discrimination and Title IX related claims. She is originally from the Los Angeles area. She attended UCLA where she majored in International Development Studies and Environmental Studies. She earned her law degree from Drake University in 2018 and clerked for Chief Justice Cady of the Iowa Supreme Court following graduation. After clerking she worked as a litigation associate at the Davis Brown Law Firm focusing on employment and civil rights law. Outside of work Torii gives presentations and lectures to various organizations about the intersection of race and the law.

Torii identifies strongly with the African American proverb: “each one, teach one”; she feels it is her obligation to use her position to help support members of historically excluded groups.
